KIM TAO was started from a small jewelry store located inside of a fish market in Orlando, FL. I worked there for 3 years taking after my grandparents who opened shop over 25 years ago. I saw the demand for high quality Asian style jewelry where people would fly from other states just to come to the 300 square foot store because online prices were too high and they didn't have a physical store in their town. I wanted to make asian jewelry more accessible to people who wanted the same quality that did not want to pay the overly marked up products online. There are so many small jewelry businesses and vendors that have these products but don't get the foot traffic they deserve and my goal is to change that. By showcasing these unique products, I hope to spread quality pieces that don't have that crazy markup price and that people can cherish and pass down to their daughters and their daughter's daughter just like how my grandma has done with me.
